The global service which allows its users to refill prepaid mobile phones using Bitcoin has now made it possible to purchase a Tinder Premium subscription using the cryptocurrency.

Tinder Premium With Bitcoin

Timely, right before Valentine’s Day, Bitrefill has made it possible for users to pay for their Tinder subscription using Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

Users of both Android and iOS devices will be able to redeem a voucher with Bitrefill, which would then allow them to purchase a Tinder plan, as well as the number of months they’d want to subscribe.

In order to purchase the voucher in the selected application store, be it the Google Play Store or the App Store, users can take advantage of their Ethereum, Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dash, or Dogecoin.

Once they’ve bought a voucher, they can use it to pay for a subscription on Tinder or an array of other popular applications which are supported by Bitrefill.

Bitrefill’s Mission to Facilitate Lightning Payments

Bitrefill’s Thor service is geared to enable anyone to get an empty Lightning channel open from the node of Bitrefill on the Lightning Network.

This is intended for users who are looking to receive Bitcoin as tips or for other relatively small-scale earnings.

A company announcement on the matter reads:

This service will let the customer get an empty lightning channel opened to them from Bitrefill’s node, on the Lightning Network. Now anyone can now pay for, or gift, the ability to have a channel opened to a Lightning wallet in order to receive payments over Lightning at any time.

Most recently, the CEO at Twitter and Square, Jack Dorsey, said that it’s only a matter of time for Cash App to integrate Lightning Network.
