BitTorrent Token’s (BTT) price marks a slight increase on the day. As the airdrop approaches, cryptocurrency exchange Bitfinex has also announced its full support.
BTT Price Moves Up
At the time of this writing, the BTT price has moved up with almost 6 percent in the last 24 hours. BTT is currently trading at $0.000826 according to data from CoinMarketCap.
The move comes not long before the major airdrop will take place. As My Bitcoin News recently reported, the event will happen as soon as block 6,600,000 is produced on TRON’s network. We’re currently at block 6,587,794.
The airdrop will allocate a total of 10,890,000,000 BTT, or 1.1 percent of the token’s total supply, to all TRX holders. HitBTC has already announced its support.
Bitfinex Follows: Announces Full Support
Another major cryptocurrency exchange has announced its full support for the BTT Airdrop program.
In an official announcement, Bitfines said that the initial snapshot of all Bitfinex TRX balances will be taken at block height 6,600,000.
The announcement also says that BTT will be distributed to TRX owners at a ratio of 1:0.11. In other words, TRX holders will be receiving 0.11 BTT for each 1 TRX they have.
