Bakkt – the cryptocurrency platform created by the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), announced that they are looking to hire for a lot of key positions.
Key Hires Wanted
The awaited cryptocurrency platform owned by the operator of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) – Bakkt, announced that it’s currenty on the look for a range of different high-up positions.
On the official job posting page of the platform, there are plenty of vacancies, most of which are for serious senior positions. These include but are not limited to director of blockchain engineering, director of security engineering, director of finance, senior full-stack engineer, and others.
My Bitcoin News reported on January 14th that the platform is Bakkt’s first acquisition is geared towards expanding its compliance capabilities.
Earlier in December, Bakkt managed to close a funding round of $182.5 million. More importantly, key investors included marquee companies such as Pantera Capital, Microsoft’s venture capital arm, Naspers, M12, CMT Digital, and others.
The platform is working towards enhancing its risk management and compliance capabilities. Speaking on the matter, Bakk’ts CEO, Kelly Loeffler, said:
How does this advance our work? First, it will enhance our risk management and treasury operations with systems and expertise. Other aspects of the transaction will contribute to our regulatory, AML/KYC and customer service operations as we help enable digital asset acceptance by bringing more choice and control to buyers and sellers.
